Poppyfield Equestrian employs highly qualified instructors whose time must be scheduled in advance. Lessons are organised by ability group, so lesson times are generally fixed; in some cases we may offer an alternative day, but we cannot change your lesson grading or ability group.
You may request a preferred horse or pony when booking. We'll try to accommodate this, but it can't be guaranteed — we reserve the right to change a rider's horse or pony at any time, including during the lesson, for reasons of animal welfare, operational requirements, or rider safety. These decisions are final. If a rider refuses the alternative offered, the lesson is treated as cancelled and the cancellation fee applies.
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before your lesson and book in at the desk beforehand. Lessons must be paid for in full before starting, including any outstanding cancellation fees.
Payment by cash (preferred) or cheque (payable to Mrs J Morton).
It's the client's responsibility to book future lessons — we can't hold spaces without a confirmed booking. By booking, you agree to our Rider's Code of Conduct, Cancellation Policy, and Digital Media Policy.
Please cancel by phone (voicemail accepted), text to 07707 399181, or in person — we can't accept cancellations by any other method. If texting, please check the message shows as sent.
If Poppyfield Equestrian cancels a lesson due to extreme weather, no charge is made. If you cancel due to weather but we deem conditions safe, full payment is still required.
Please include the rider's name and the date/time of the lesson being cancelled. Once a lesson is booked, the cost of a missed lesson remains payable at your next booking-in. For private or semi-private lessons, the full cost remains payable even if cancelled, regardless of notice given.
